Your opportunity
Are you a positive, analytical and service minded person that want to have the opportunity to grow and develop in our company and be a part of Boliden´s journey? Boliden Commercial is searching for a Sales Manager in charge of Bolidens Copper Metal sales to join the Sales department. Location is preferably in Stockholm but can be considered if needed and some of our other sites could be an option.
Main tasks and responsibility
The work consists of daily communication and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. It is a manager position that includes leading and supervising a team of people from different departments in the work to research market demands and macro developments, creating strategic plans, negotiate contracts and not the least, handle the day-to-day operational issues, related to executing the business. Travelling is a big part of the role.
As Manager for Copper Metal, you will belong to the Sales team and will report to the Director Sales, Boliden Commercial, BA Smelters.
What you bring:
- A relevant University education, preferably a degree in engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
- Experience of commodities, base industry or other similar industries.
- Experience from Business Development or industry and macro research is valued.
- Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal. Swedish, Finnish or German is an advantage. Ability to present to large audiences are valued.
- Good negotiation skills. You are structured and process oriented and able to prioritize and make decisions when needed.
- Analytical ability and proficiency in working with Excel make financial business analysis and calculations are required.
- Good skills in MS Office and other common data bases and systems.
