Your opportunity

As a Sourcing Manager, you will provide procurement services to various business stakeholders, aiming to control Boliden's cost level, enhance supplier value, and manage supply risks. You will work in the Sourcing process by evaluating, qualifying, and selecting suppliers, as well as conducting negotiations. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate with the Category Managers and assist in implementing category strategies. Additionally, you will ensure that goals are met and that stakeholders are satisfied with the service delivered by Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing initiatives for annual savings.
• Manage contracts and ensure compliance.
• Develop governance for key supplier relationships.
• Handle stakeholder relations effectively.
• Contribute to category strategy.
• Drive sustainability and safety measures.
• Report procurement activities.

What you bring

We look forward to working with you who have a good understanding of key purchasing processes and tools and want to work in a dynamic business environment. You take initiatives and have great stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence, coach, and communicate at all levels in the organization to achieve results and systematically reach set goals.

• Relevant academic degree, or several years’ experience from strategic sourcing, or other relevant experience from the mining industry.
• Fluent communication skills both in Swedish and English verbal and written.
• Driver's license for a passenger car.

To succeed in this position, we believe you have strong business acumen, including the ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions. We also see that you are willing to travel in your role. The job is located at one of our Sites (Boliden, Aitik, Garpenberg) and you will report to Head of Section - Sourcing.
